Itinerary Detail:

Day 1:Shanhu Lake& Folded Brocade Hill & Flute Reed Cave

Morning (09:00–12:00)

Folded Brocade Hill:

First have a stroll along the charming Shanhu Lake in the city center. Shan Lake ( Fir Lake )is on the east side of Rong Lake and connected with Li River. The Sun Tower and the Moon Tower are the highlight of the lake. The higher Sun Pagoda is connected by an underwater tunnel to the seven-story octagonal pagoda.

Drive north to Folded Brocade Hill. Folded Brocade Hill is located about 2.5 km north of Rong Lake or Zhengyang Pedestrian Street. This is the best place to have a panoramic view in Guilin with spectacular views of Li River, Mulong River, Hubo Hill and Solitary Hill. It is a 20-minute' hike to the Bright Moon Peak for the spectacular view.

Afternoon (13:00–17:00)

Flute Reed Cave:

After lunch, continue to visit Flute Reed Cave- a huge karst cave with a great number of stalactites, stalagmites, rocks in all featuring shapes and size. The cave is named after a kind of flutes growing on the hill which can be made into melodious flutes.

Finally go back to the downtown and get to the the 7th floor sky garden ( the roof-top) in the Golden Oriole Hotel  for a glimpse of so-called Elephant Trunk Hill over a drink, more relaxing and comfortable. Kind reminder: you are requested to pay a drink on the the 7th floor sky garden on your own.

Day 2: Li River Cruising and Yangshuo Ancient Town

Morning (09:00–12:30)

Lijiang River:

First drive about one hour to reach the Zhujiang Pier for a four hours's cruising on Li River - the highlight of sightseeing tour in Guilin. The 83-km long Li River from Guilin resembles a jade ribbon flanked by idyllic paddy fields and green forested hills, and dotted with pinnacled peaks, yellow shoals, bamboo groves, odd shaped crags, deep pools and flying waterfalls. Li River is full of surprises which will ignite your imagination to fully appreciate the bestowed beauty.

Afternoon (13:30–17:00)

Yangshuo Ancient Town:

Your boat will bring you to Yangshuo , a 500-meter vibrant street roughly starting from Yangshuo Dock where you disembark from your boat to Pantao Road, a northeast – southwest street. This renovated old street has a a carnival feel, full of bars, souvenirs stands, restaurants, shops, an interesting place for people watching, drinking, eating and shopping. You will find a lot of street food, and souvenirs ranging from tacky gadgets to nice Miao embroidery.

Day 3: Dragon-Back Terraced Fields and Miao Villages

Morning (09:00–12:30)

Longji Rice Terrace:

Drive about 90km northwest of Guilin city center. Longji Rice Terrace Scenic Area encomposes five natural villages,You are arranged to visit Dazhai Village & Tiantouzhai Village .There are three high viewing platforms in the area,you are arranged take cable car up the Viewing Platform No.03 for a bird-eye's view of the magnificent terraced paddy fields.

Afternoon (13:30–17:00)

Miao Villages:

Then take cable car down. After lunch, have a stroll around Dazhai Village at the base of the terraced mountains. You will see Miao's wooden stilt-houses. There are also some intriguing things related to batik making, distillery, embroidery and silver arts. If you can, you may hike towards the Platform No.02 for the amazing view of the rice terraced fields. Drive back to the hotel.
