Day 01:Arrival in Beijing
Arrival in Beijing, met and transferred to your hotel in Beijing. After lunch, visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Free for the rest of the day.
Day 02:Beijing
Starting the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest square of this kind. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the "Forbidden City" that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch, continue to visit , the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China.
Day 03:Beijing
Begin the highlight of your hiking the Great Wall of China, Mutainyu Great Wall, a massive military defense works which was left from the Ming dynasty. It's known for lush greenery, well-preserved watchtowers and stunning mountain views. On the way Back to your hotel,Exterior Visit the exterior of the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), iconic landmarks of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Take photos and learn about their architectural features.
Day 04:Beijing - Xian by Bullet train
After breakfast, take morning the bullet train for Xian. Met and transferred to your hotel in Xian . Your city tour begins with a visit to The Shaanxi Provincial History Museum - a large modern museum of the national level. Then move on to the the Great Mosque, the biggest and most preserved complete Chinese existent mosque. It was first built at the Tianbao first year (742 years) during Tang Dynasty. Then visit Xian City Wall - a symbol of great significance of the famous historic cultural city of Xian. After having the local flavor - dumpling dinner, enjoy Tang Dynasty Show in the evening. Day 05:Xian - Dunhuang by air
Breakfast at hotel, have an excursion to the Terra-cotta Army - a lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2200-year-old terra-cotta Army of China' First Emperor-Qin Shihuang. After lunch, take the afternoon flight for Dunhuang by air. Met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Free for rest of the day.
Day 06:Dunhuang
Visit Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake, a unique desert landscape with a natural spring.Discover the historical sites of the ancient Silk Road frontier.
1.Echoing-Sand Dune - Located 6 kilometers south of Dunhuang city, Singing Sand Hill which is also known as the sand dunes of Mingsha, offers fantastic desert scenery. The dune, surrounded by rolling ridges and precipitous cliffs, reaches a relative height of 250 meters. 2.Crescent Lake - Or called Yueyaquan in Chinese, is a crescent-shaped lake in the oasis, 5 km southwest of the city Dunhuang. It was named Yueyaquan since Qing Dynasty. The lake and the surrounding deserts are very popular with tourists, who are offered camel and 4x4 rides.
Day 7: Dunhuang → Shanghai (by Flight, ~3.5h)
Explore the Mogao Caves, famous for ancient Buddhist murals and statues along the Silk Road. After lunch, take the afternoon flight for Shanghai. Met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Shanghai. Free for rest of the day.
Day 08:Shanghai
First visit Shanghai Museum, the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Then proceed to visit The Bund, one of the most noted waterfront and architectural symbols of Shanghai. After that, move on to the "Pedestrians only" Nanjing Road, a walking bustling street that is always packed with people waching other people. After lunch, go to Shanghai's new zone - Pudong ( east of Huangpu River) and visit Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower - the world's third tallest TV tower after the 553-meter CN Tower in Toronto and the 535-meter Moscow TV Tower. Finally take one hour cruising on cruising on Huang Pu River. Back to your hotel.
Day 09:Exit From Shanghai
Visit Yu yuan Garden, a classical Qing Dynasty garden with over 30 pavilions linked by a maze of corridors and bridges over ponds. Move on to the Old City God's Temple Bazaar from the Song Dyansty. After lunch, transferred to Shanghai airport for your departure to your next destination.
