Together with Dujiangyan, Mt.Qingcheng is listed as World Cultural Heritage. It is about 16 kms away from Dujiangyan, 65 km west of Chengdu. Qingcheng Mountain is one of the top 10 Taoist mountains in China. It is about 2400 meters high above the sea-level. Qingchengshan Mountain (Qingchengshan) is one of the ancient cradles of Taoism. The mountain has many Taoist temples and palaces along the paths leading to its peak. Zhuge Liang was a famous statesman, military strategist. He was also given the title of Marquis Wuxiang in his lifetime. “Wuhou” literally means “Wuxiang Marquis”. Now Wuhou Shrine is more than a shine.
